Closing quietly and silently in the summer heat of July, Stalking Moon Comics shuttered its doors and surrendered its inventory to the landlord. Open for over two decades on the West Valley, Stalking Moon ceased operations suddenly and without notice. I have included several pictures of the site located at 59th avenue and Greenway Rd. near the Dairy Queen.

The owner had moved the one store franchise from 59th and Bell near a newly constructed Wal-Mart south to its current location a mile away over two years ago. It seemed like an odd choice, leaving the soon to be massive amount of foot traffic for the sleepy corner at 59th and Greenway.
